# Hello World!

I have finally finished the first production-ready version of my [blog engine](https://github.com/alanqchen/Bear-Blog-Engine) (blog platform?) after 8 months of work! If you want an introduction into it, you can check out [the post on the example site](https://example.aqchen.com/perma/6). And I do plan on continuing to work on it, there’s always room to optimize and improve.

And by making this site, I suppose I’m the first, or possibly only ever (and that’s okay!), user of the project!

My plans for this blog are to first detail in a more casual style some of my past projects (including this one!). Most posts won’t be very long, and honestly will likely be padded by lots of pictures. I might also post about some of the topics I’m interested in from time to time, such as space or roller coasters (well, maybe after the Covid-19 situation has calmed down…).

Anyway, I hate to have a post only be only a bunch of text, so here’s an image!

(And sorry for the default feature image, I can’t think of a good one to use)
